The Primary Scripture!

​If I could pick one verse from scripture, and claim that everything else – not just scripture, but everything else – should take account of it, this would be the one:

“The Lord created me [Wisdom] at the beginning of his work, the first of his acts of long ago. Ages ago I was set up, at the first, before the beginning of the earth.” (Proverbs 8: 22– 23)

Crossan precedes this verse with: “Begin with Jewish speculation about divine Wisdom and remember that, in Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and Latin, wisdom is a feminine noun.

    She is a tree of life to those that lay hold of her, and those who hold her fast are called happy. Prize her highly…a beautiful crown…The crown of the wise is their wisdom…A good wife is the crown of her husband.

    Strauss has a famous contrast of Aristotle- the beginning of wisdom is wonder- with Proverbs- the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. beginning of wisdom.

    Proverbs: The beginning of wisdom is this: get wisdom…

    But what happened to Mr. Solomon?!

    Once I figured that was just about the center of the book if one takes O.T. and N.T., because Strauss also says that the bible is not a book but a collection of books. But we have the beginning, middle and end.

    So, what is the tree of life? And what the crown?

    This female “She,” what does it mean to say she was before the creation? And what is the bride, and what the wedding? The marriage of the bride and Lamb at Revelation 19:7? She is clothed with the righteous deeds of the saints. And blessed are those invited to the wedding! The body of the redeemed, and also, wisdom. Socrates in the Apology says that wisdom is the possession of the god. But he, Socrates, has a kind of human wisdom, that consists in his knowledge that he does not have divine wisdom. How cool is that?

    In lieu of e-mail, so erase if you like, since this is not a comment on this blog: My communications have been blocked, after publishing the citizens arrest of Mr. Trump, tweeting him to inform, and tweeting Ms. Lynch. The charge is election fraud, and we are considering charges of treason. I had strange people, Journalist and a Texas cop, appear and then disappear from my messages, and a porno girl too (a poor kid who cannot afford clothes, probably from Russia!) This happened after I tweeted Larry Arnn, the President of Hillsdale College, and he retweeted to Boston news agencies. He has an article in Imprimis (3.5 million subscribes, and is a Trumpster technically, though he may be honest. So fa as I know, Mr. Trump is under citizen’s arrest as of then.
